How We Screen and Select Tutors
We believe in showing our process — not making claims we can't back up. Here's exactly what happens when a tutor applies to join our network.
Our Application Process
Tutor submits full profile online (name, qualifications, experience, photo, academic documents)
Our coordinator reviews the application (typically 1–2 working days)
Qualification documents are verified
Profile is approved or declined
Approved tutors receive matched assignments from our coordinator
What We Check
What We Look For in a Tutor
Beyond qualifications, we look for tutors who describe a clear teaching methodology, who communicate with patience and clarity, and who demonstrate genuine care for their students' progress. Qualifications alone are not enough.
Our Ongoing Standards
We monitor tutor performance through parent feedback after lessons. Tutors who receive negative feedback are reviewed by our coordinator. We reserve the right to remove tutors from our network if standards are not met.
A Note on Being New
TuitionSG is a new agency. Our tutor network is growing. This means we can give every application the full attention it deserves — we are not processing thousands of registrations with automated systems. Every tutor we approve has been personally reviewed by our coordinator.
