Terms and Conditions

Please read this agreement in full before accepting. By registering with TuitionSG, you agree to be bound by all terms set out herein.

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") are entered into between TuitionSG ("Agency") and the tutor ("You") upon registration. By registering and accepting assignments, You agree to be bound by all terms set out herein.

2. Commission and Payment Obligations

2.1 TuitionSG operates on a commission-based model. For every successful match facilitated by the Agency, You agree to pay the agreed commission fee.

2.2 Commission Policy: For any new assignment matched by TuitionSG, the commission is 50% of 1 month fee for normal assignments, and 25% of 1 month fee (or otherwise stated) for short-term assignments (2 months or less).

2.3 Failure to pay commission constitutes a material breach and may result in legal action and blacklisting from future assignments.

Client Protection & Legal Policy

Clause: Client Protection & Anti-Poaching Policy

1. PROHIBITION ON DIRECT CLIENT SOLICITATION

Tutors registered with TuitionSG are strictly prohibited from directly soliciting, approaching, or accepting tuition arrangements with students or parents introduced to them through TuitionSG, outside of the agency's official matching process.

2. PROHIBITION ON CLIENT STEALING

Any tutor found to have bypassed TuitionSG's coordination process — including but not limited to: accepting payment directly from a client without the agency's knowledge, continuing lessons after terminating the agency arrangement without notifying TuitionSG, or redirecting clients to personal or third-party arrangements — will be considered to have committed a breach of this agreement.

3. LEGAL ACTION

TuitionSG reserves the right to take legal action, including but not limited to filing a police report under the Penal Code of Singapore for cheating or criminal breach of trust (Sections 415–420), against any tutor found to be in violation of the above clauses. Civil claims for loss of commission and damages may also be pursued.

4. COMMISSION OBLIGATIONS

Commission fees remain payable to TuitionSG regardless of whether the tutor continues lessons with the client independently after the initial match. Non-payment of agreed commission constitutes a breach of contract and will be pursued legally.

5. REPORTING

TuitionSG encourages clients to report any tutor who attempts to bypass the agency directly to our coordinator at +65 9277 4440 or chenjingxun88@gmail.com. All reports are treated with strict confidentiality.

By registering with TuitionSG and agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for compliance with the above policies.

3. Professional Conduct

3.1 You agree to conduct all lessons in a professional, respectful, and appropriate manner at all times.

3.2 You must be punctual, well-prepared, and communicate proactively with the Agency and the client family about any changes, cancellations, or concerns.

4. Accuracy of Information

4.1 You warrant that all information provided — including qualifications, experience, and identity documents — is accurate and truthful.

4.2 Submission of fraudulent credentials will result in immediate termination, clawback of fees, and may be reported to relevant authorities.

5. Confidentiality

5.1 You agree to keep all client information strictly confidential and shall not disclose it to any third party. This obligation survives the termination of any assignment.

6. Termination

6.1 TuitionSG reserves the right to terminate registration and/or remove Tutors from active assignments at any time, including for breach of these Terms and Conditions, non-payment, unprofessional behaviour, or client complaints.

6.2 You may withdraw from an assignment by providing at least seven (7) days' notice.

7. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.

8. Acknowledgement

By registering with TuitionSG and checking the agreement box on the registration form, You confirm that You have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
